Here on earth lies a humungous baby with a achy tummy, bald patch, stiff knees, burnt skin and a broken heart.

The Field Hospital is an immersive experience; a living artwork which can only be perceived through the heart’s lens. The symbolic sculpture is being built by a collective, each championing a part of the body. The sickness of one organ permeates through the entire body, into the rivers and oceans, eventually effecting the whole universe. Together we weave our own stories into one imperfect tapestry and THIS is the medicine.
The Field Hospital’s visiting hours are 10am to 10pm from the 14th to the 19th, all of which one festival ticket covers. Libertas Farm (meaning farm of freedom) will be filled ,everyday, with song, truth, comfort food, dance, art, tears, performances and the immensity of life- light and dark. It shall runneth over.
Book yourself into The Field Hospital if you are in dire need of a drip or a inspiration injection or bring flowers and a get-well-soon card if you want.

Die Veldhospitaal is ‘n ervaring, ‘n avontuur na die binnewereld. Dis 'n lewende kunswerk wat bestaan uit organe, liggaamsdele en abstraksies van menswees, elkeen wat verteenwoordig word deur n individuele kunstenaar. Die Veldhospitaal se besoekure is 10vm tot 10nm vanaf die 14de tot die 19de; een feeskaartjie dek dit als.
Ons is nie gepla met perfeksie nie, want dit is juis deur die krake waar die lig inskyn.
